SINet aims to explore, stimulate, debate and advance solidarity as a crucial issue within European society. It will bring together citizens from four EU countries and one non-EU country with a long history of political, social and economic crisis. The project will assess the needs faced by these countries and their citizens, and understand the importance of solidarity and love for other human beings from marginalised communities.

The aim of the project is to foster democratic and civic participation of citizens at Union level, as well as to promote opportunities for social engagement, civil protection and volunteering, through the use of social innovation and new technologies.

The partner countries in this project are: Turkey, Italy, Cyprus and Spain.
